Leah Samson - Vocals

How/ why she got into music: “I got into music at a young age with piano & voice lessons, and school band. I come from a very musical family and spent my childhood surrounded by guitars, mandolins, & fiddles. My dad has been a gigging musician as long as I can remember. As an adult, I longed to get back on stage, and when I met my husband (our guitarist) Kyle, we brought music back into each others lives in a big way.”

Favourite thing about playing with this band: “The positive energy and the way things just fall into place in a beautiful, collaborative way. I love these people!”

Other musical projects: “Leah & Kyle duo, Soul Sisters, PC Pop Classics, and various collaborations with my many musical pals.”

Niki Campbell - Vocals

How/ why she got into music: “Some of my earliest memories as a child are singing along in the car with my Dad to anything from Elvis Presley to Nirvana. I always loved digging into song lyrics and that turned into my passion of writing and singing. My first instrument of choice was the drums at age 13, but singing is what brought me true joy and I put down the sticks to focus more on vocals as a young adult and have zero regrets!”

Favourite thing about playing with this band: “Being able to perform with my closest friends and bring our creativity and positive vibes to the stage.”

Other projects: “Hot Pixel, PC Pop Classics, Soul Sisters and collaborations with other musicians and friends such as Stevie Auld and Mat Brennan”

Favourite thing about playing with this band: “Arranging and composition have always been a passion of mine. I love having the opportunity to work with such talented musicians and composers, creating fresh songs to bring to the world. Everyone has their part to play in each piece, and I love watching it all come together!”

Other musical projects: “Hot Mess, Neon Soul Machine, Not Like Yesterday, Soul Sisters, Momentary Lapse, PC Pop Classics, pick-up jazz gigs, and of course my passion – teaching youth in the school system and beyond!”

Michelle Tracey - Bass Guitar

How/ why she got into music: “My Dad was a big inspiration behind wanting to start playing guitar when I was younger. He was a gigging musician back then, and still a very talented musician to this day. That coupled with bands like Nirvana made me want to try it for myself. I didn’t start taking it seriously until my 20’s, then having Leah and Kyle ask me to try bass with them a few years back set me on this amazing journey I’m on with the band now.”

Favourite thing about playing with this band: “This was/is the first full band I’ve ever played with, and to see the evolution over the years from where we started to where we are now is an amazing thing to be a part of.”

Other musical projects: “Soul Sisters, Trilogy, Sally & Lucy, as well as other duo projects such as playing with the lovely Niki Veniot.”

Kyle Samson - Lead Guitar

How/why He got into music: “It started when I was really young. I would sneak out of bed and sit at the top of the stairs, listening to my father play his guitar and sing. I also remember huddling around the television at my grandparents house, watching Time-Life infomercials in the early 90’s. Most were half an hour long, showing clips of the hit songs of decades past. I loved watching the videos of so many greats, performing their songs and wanted to be like them. I got my first guitar when I was 11 and it has always been a constant in my life.”

Favorite thing about playing music with this band: “We all have so much fun being creative and playing music together and best of all, I get to share all of it with my BFF, Leah!”

Other musical projects: “Not Like Yesterday, Leah & Kyle duo, PC Pop Classics”
